Hospital Management

Our management team’s goal is to ensure that every part of your visit to Southpointe Veterinary Hospital meets your expectations. We all work together to coordinate your pet’s care from the outpatient visit to inpatient care.

Veterinarians

With five doctors on staff, we have expertise in the many different aspects of veterinary medicine.

Client Ambassadors

Whether you are walking through the door or calling Southpointe by telephone, you will be warmly greeted by one of our receptionists. Our receptionists are knowledgeable and patient. Their goal is to make your visit as stress-free as possible.

Veterinary Assistants

This part of our team works in our outpatient area. They are responsible for assisting the veterinarians in the examination rooms. They will take a brief history, and may take your pet’s temperature and weight in preparation for the doctor’s examination.

The exam room assistants are also responsible for filling prescriptions from our pharmacy.

Technician Staff

Our treatment room staff consists of licensed technicians(L.V.T.) and veterinary assistants. The technicians are responsible for performing treatments and diagnostics as well as monitoring patient care while your pet is hospitalized. The veterinary assistants provide assistance to the technicians in performing these duties as well as assist in restraining fractious patients.

Their many other skills include, drawing blood and performing lab tests, taking blood pressure, monitoring surgical patients, taking radiographs, administering treatments and monitoring IV fluid pumps.

Kennel Attendants

Our kennel staff is comprised of all very compassionate and caring individuals. They treat all boarders and patients in the hospital as if they were their own. You can feel confident leaving your loved one in their capable hands.
